Most new office chairs come with hard nylon caster wheels designed to be used on carpeted floors. But if the chair is used on a hard surface such as hardwood, linoleum, tile, concrete, etc the hard caster wheels may scratch or permanently damage your expensive floors. The solution is to replace the hard casters of your chair with polyurethane (soft PU) tread caster wheels. The softer polyurethane material of the tread will prevent the wheels from scratching your hard floor and will allow the wheels of your chair to roll more smoothly. Maximum user weight 18 stones.
